Call for Papers out for Interdisciplinary Track on Philosophical Questions Regarding Technology
As a follow-up of the successful forum on Philosophy, Engineering and Technology (fPET) this year in Nuremberg, an interdisciplinary track will be organized at next year’s conference of the Society for Philosophy and Technology (SPT) in Darmstadt. The SPT conferences play a key role in the development of philosophical thought on technology, including the foundations of technology, instrumental action, machine ethics, mediality, industry and innovation. The track invites all interested researchers and practitioners to share their work across disciplinary boundaries. WI1 member Albrecht Fritzsche will chair the track. To highlight the variety of perspectives in research and practice, the track is titled “Technology Translations: Philosophical Interactions across Disciplines and Application Domains”.
