Critical Infrastructure Protection with WI1
WI1 is involved in one of the hottest topics for Information Systems Research. As part of the VeSiKi project team, Kathrin Möslein, Albrecht Fritzsche, Matthias Rass and Max Jalowski consult and support the German research initiative ITS KRITIS on cybersecurity of critical infrastructures (see www.itskritis.de). They are also actively involved in running the yearly ITS KRITIS conference. This year’s conference was held in Bremen. The WI1 team ran workshops, chaired sessions and discussed with policy makers, industrial experts and strategists. The old hanseatic city was an inspiring location to gain new insights, make friends and build the foundations for a safer society. We will continue to work on this grand challenge in the future.
