Guest Lecture by Prof. Frank Piller

On 3rd February we welcomed Prof. Frank Piller (Director, Institute for Technology & Innovation Management (TIM) at RWTH Aachen University) for a guest lecture entitled “Mass Customization: A different facet of Interactive Value Creation” at the FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg. Prof. Frank Piller explained the fundamentals of Mass Customization, drawing on his many years of research and many interesting examples from the field. In an interactive exchange with the students, he discussed how Mass Customization can be designed today and which new approaches are promising for the future.
The guest lecture was part of the Innovation Strategy course taught by Prof. Dr. Angela Roth.
