Yesterday Wi1 was proud to host Belma Ramić-Brkić, Vice Dean of Undergraduate Program, Computer Science and Information Systems Department at the University Sarajevo School of Science and Technology. She lectured students from the course “Designing Technology” for Master students, followed by an open presentation to visitors at our open innovation laboratory Josephs. She talked about her research on 3D graphics and advancements in the technology, along with its usefullness in developing simulations, animations and computer games. Two games her team developed, aimed at assisting children with Autism in their education and development won prizes at the FIT Coding Challenge in Mostar. The first 3D serious game was KOCKICA to help Bosnian children interactively learn the alphabet and improve their verbal skills. The second game AVIONCICI, is themed around the world of airplanes and teaches children basic counting, color matching, and color sorting by taking them through the airport.
