Prof. Dr. Claudia Lehmann
Claudia Lehmann is Executive Director of the Center for Leading Innovation and Cooperation (CLIC) at HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management. Her work focuses on developing and implementing standards for cyber physical systems as well as designing systems for smart service delivery and the productivity of services. Claudia develops innovative technical components together with German manufacturers in order to exploit the full potential of digitalization by combining user integrating, modern work design and Big Data applications. She creates the basis for new business models that enable value creation opportunities beyond the previously existing business activities.
Prior to joining HHL, Claudia supported several major German companies in planning and controlling R&D projects as a consultant. In projects with the German airport industry, she explored service productivity from providers’, customers’ and operations’ perspective and developed concepts and measurements to face the challenge for airport managers to deliver services in a high and consistent quality for a minimum of costs. In this context, Claudia also worked for Lufthansa Cargo in the US.
Claudia graduated from the Technische Universität Dresden, Germany, with a Master in Engineering and Business Administration with a specialization in aviation engineering. She has been involved in a number of publications as author / co-author as well as editor / co-editor. Furthermore, she is a member of the European Academy of Management and European Association for Research on Services.
