Postdoc Researcher Erik G. Hansen joint WI1 in March 2010 as a postdoctoral research associate. He wrote his doctoral thesis on “Responsible Leadership Systems” at Technische Universität München, School of Management where he also worked as a research associate (2006-2009) at the Institute for Information, Organization and Management of Prof. Dr. Ralf Reichwald. Before his position at Technische Universität München, he has gained a diploma in Management Information Systems (“Wirtschaftsinformatik”) at Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany with a major in general management. His studies also included academic exchanges at Tongji University in Shanghai, China and at Pontifícia Universidade Católica in Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), Brasil. Erik’s Master’s thesis has been awarded the “Siemens Excellence Award”. Besides his studies, he also gained broad industry experience in multinational corporations in Germany and abroad. Erik’s major research interests lie at the interface of innovation and leadership with corporate responsibility (CR) and sustainability. His latest publication has been awarded the “Best Student Paper Award” at ISPIM, 2009. He teaches in these fields on all levels (Bachelor, Master, EMBA). Further, Erik is currently a visiting scholar at Cranfield University, Doughty Centre for Corporate Responsibility.
