Melanie Oßwald
Melanie Oßwald, Dipl.-Des., MMM
Melanie Oßwald manages Science Policy for the Fraunhofer-Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS and is also a former Member of the German National Parliament.
She studied Design at the Class of Prof. Hans-Joachim Berndt at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg, her diploma thesis was a design study for a tablet and operating system. She also graduated from the Master programme „Marketing Management“ at FAU.
As a Doctoral Student, Melanie investigates side effects of co-creation like the IKEA Effect and pursues the idea that design evaluation principles might also apply to Open Innovation processes. She currently works on the research projects CoDi and JOSEPHS.
